About Us

At Taboo Coffee Co, our mission is to provide high-quality, ethically sourced beverages while helping to promote mental health awareness through open dialogue.

We understand the difficulty of speaking about our feelings due to insecurities and lack of trust.

Since I was 15 years old, I have struggled with poor mental health and have previously attempted to take my own life despite fighting to get help from professionals.

Honestly, if it was not for my very small group of friends and a couple of very close family members dragging me along kicking and screaming - I would have prevailed.

I call these people My Tribe.

Despite these challenges, I decided to set up my own coffee company to give myself a sense of purpose and direction in life.

Through research and hard work, I managed to make this idea a reality.

Our goal is to aid in alleviating some of the strain that society's ever-growing mental health epidemic has placed on our healthcare system by encouraging open conversations around personal struggles.

If we are able to save even one life, then we know that our mission will be a success.
