Brew Smooth, Flavourful Pour Over Coffee with a V60

The V60 pour over dripper produces a bright, clean cup of coffee. With the right technique, you can make barista-quality pour over coffee at home.

Equipment You'll Need:

  • V60 dripper
  • V60 filter papers
  • Digital coffee scale
  • Burr coffee grinder
  • Kettle for heating water

Easy V60 Pour Over Recipe:

  • Coffee: 15g medium grind
  • Water: 250g (heat to 197-204°F)

Step-By-Step Brewing Instructions:

  1. Gather equipment and coffee grounds
  2. Heat water to optimal temperature
  3. Rinse V60 filter to remove paper taste
  4. Grind coffee to medium consistency
  5. Place filter in V60 & add coffee grounds
  6. Zero out scale and start timer as you bloom
  7. Bloom with 50g water for 30 seconds
  8. Pour to 100g at 0:30, 150g at 1:00
  9. Final pour to 250g finishing at 1:30
  10. Drawdown finishes around 3:00-3:30
